3 Stage Grease Cleansing Process
Stage 1 – Food removal
As water enters the grease recovery unit the unwanted food debris is automatically captured and held in a removable food strainer basket.
Stage 2 – Oil Separation
The oil separation chamber ensures the oil that your kitchen produces is disposed of safely and won't run the risk of Fats Oils and Grease (FOG) clogging your drainage system.
Stage 3 – FOG Removal
Pressure forces Fats Oils and Grease (FOG) out of the oil valve, and into the oil collection cassette. The clean water is then discharged out of the outflow into the sewer system away from your business.
The only operator intervention necessary is the removal of the food waste tray and disposal of the contents to a bin and the removal of the FOG collection container and the transfer of its contents to a waste cooking oil container.
Collected FOG from the grease recovery unit has very minimal water content and is suitable for use in the production of Bio-Diesel.
